No,you don't-you don't have a dog.
REAL hunters ....of every type....don't blather lies to strangers-on-line.
Real hog-hunters know all about proper equipment, tactics %26amp; safety. %26amp; realize that on occasion,a dog WILL be injured %26amp; what to do in that event.
He doesn't HAVE any dogs, folks!!!!! Notorious %26amp; admitted TROLL!How do i keep my dogs safe when hunting?
Its like when your coonhunting with coon dogs you cant prevent injuries. My finace and I are coon hunters and the coon hounds Ive had in the past havent gotten hurt on many occassions, however you cant prevent an injury from happening, especially when the thrill of the hunt for the dog in coon hunting is to track down tree and then fight the coon when you shoot it out. Some dogs take to hunting like a passionate sport like a human would to football or cheerleading.Atleast thats my opinion if a dog doesnt wanna get hurt or isnt ready to get hurt in the hunt it wont try to fight the animal Ive seen dogs turn away from the fight before.
There are things you can get to help lessen the injury it would receive from hunting websites based around hunting dogs.
Type in Hunting Dog Equipment in your search browser and find a site with equipment for dogs that way.
Actually it's pretty simple.
You don't ';just take a dog boar hunting';, you take a TRAINED dog boar hunting. Next, you only use dogs that were bred for boar hunting. Just because a dog is a Black Mouth Curr, or a Carolina Dog,etc doesn't mean that it was bred for the job.
They sell certain items the dogs can wear, around the neck, etc, but, the dog MUST have the drive, the balls to put himself in danger, to enjoy the hunt which YOU must control.
The dogs have to be able to take direction from you and follow it.
What kind of dogs do you have for this type of hunt?
I hate to state the obvious, but maybe don't bring the dogs and they won't get hurt.
You can't prevent any injuries when you're dealing with off leash dogs and wild animals.
You can't prevent a dog from getting hurt when boar hunting, some have even been killed. A boars tusks ar razor sharp.
