How much does it usually cost to go on a hunting trip in Africa?

If you go on a hunting trip in Africa and you hunt quite a few animals (maybe a few of the big five) how much would it usually round out to? Like what would the price range? How much does it usually cost to go on a hunting trip in Africa?
Africa hunting is exactly what you want it to be, you can go on relatively low cost hunts for plains game, such as impala, kudu, gemsbok, springbok, there are a few places offering multi-species hunts, 8-10 days, around 8-10 animals, for about $6000-$7000. From there it escalates quite quickly. If you want to hunt zebra, cape buffalo, lion, leopard, anything like that you are looking at over $1000 just in license and trophy fees. A cape buffalo hunt you are looking at $10,000+. Anything bigger than that is going to start even higher. Shop around, you may be able to find a deal. There are lots of outfitters and shopping around is essential. How much does it usually cost to go on a hunting trip in Africa?
I was just recently at an American Whitetail banquet and they could not sell an 8 day hunting trip to Africa. There was an auction, and they couldn't even get the minimum bid of $300 because the trophy fees and airfare were outrageous. If I would have purchased that hunt, taken five big animals, airfare, I would have easily been in about $15,000. I would take a whitetail in Illinois anyday...
